The clean bedding didn't compensate for the discomfort of hard mattresses that left both of us aching in the morning.

So, we stayed for a night and honestly, it was just okay. The room was a mess when we got there – think unmade bed and trash left behind. The walls were super thin, so you could hear everything. On the plus side, there’s a nice outdoor dining area that we enjoyed while having a few drinks by the fire pit.

during my stay, I loved how close we were to the Texas Heroes Museum at the Old Fayette County Jail, just a short stroll away, and I enjoyed relaxing in the cool outdoor space with a fire pit at night, which added to the lovely atmosphere of my trip. traveling solo was a breeze with clean accommodations and friendly support from the staff, making it an excellent getaway for anyone looking to explore the city and its surrounding parks.
